Disappointed that our town is so dull over Christmas

In previous years, multi-coloured lights were put up in the main street to celebrate Christmas

Editor- Many people are disappointed with Alfred Duma Local Municipality, as there were no Christmas lights in the heart of town over the Christmas period.

In previous years, multi-coloured Christmas lights were put up in the main street to celebrate the festive season and shone bright for motorists who happened to be in the CBD after sunset.

These lights were most prevalent outside the Town Hall building, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. But it seems that this is a thing of the past, with no lights up for Christmas 2019.

I hope the next festive season will be better for our town as a whole.
