In February 2020, the Midlands Christian Centre church family recognised and honoured Mr Cyril Moodley (manager of Electricity Planning at Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality) for his outstanding service to the town of Estcourt.

Cyril has been responsible for the town avoiding immense inconvenience during the periods of load-shedding imposed by Eskom countrywide.

The wording on the certificate that was handed to Cyril was as follows: From the MIDLANDS CHRISTIAN CENTRE – For extraordinary service and dedication to your profession and for keeping the town of Estcourt Lit Up.

Senior pastors Jon and Tracy Kühn presented the certificate to Cyril Moodley, and invited his parents to join him in the photograph as he was honoured and thanked for his faithful service to the residents of the Estcourt community.

Thank you, Cyril, for being such a positive and proactive member of the local municipality in Estcourt.
