Rapportryers tee off for charity
The competition was followed by a prize-giving, where the winners were announced while players enjoyed a cold one with good company.
The Rapportryers held its annual sponsored Four Ball Scramble Competition at the Newcastle Golf Club on October 7.
Despite the rainy weather, avid golfers were in attendance to raise funds for a good cause, and enjoy a round of golf.
The competition was followed by a prize-giving, where the winners were announced while players enjoyed a cold one with good company.
The winners were as follows:
First Place – Renier Terblanche, Willie Potgieter and Karel Volschenk with a nett score of 57,37.
Second place – Lucas Oosthuizen, Jp van Rensburg, Ebert Koorts and Leon Rothman with a nett score of 58,12.
Third place – Riaan Erasmus, Andre de Jager and Eugene Terblanche with a nett score of 58,37.
Fourth place – Eric Bladen de Chalain, Andre Fourie, Raymond van Niekerk and Braeden Coetzee with a nett score of 59.
Fifth place – Andrè Potgieter, Steyn Vermaas, Andrè de Jager and Hentie van Staden with a nett score of 59,25.
