Streetwire blasts its way to victory
With competitors vying for the win in the Show and Shine, as well as the Sound Off, it seemed Streetwire was the champion.
Car enthusiasts refused to let their sound waves be washed away on Saturday.
Johannesburg based Nitro Crew SA hosted its first ever car show at Lincoln Heights Secondary School, where several car junkies attended.
“As the Eastern Fair took place in Newcastle, we thought it would be perfect to host the show. As there are always car enthusiasts at festivals such as these,” said Heenan Ramnath of Nitro Crew SA.
With competitors vying for the win in the Show and Shine, as well as the Sound Off, it seemed Streetwire was the champion.
Abed Kader of Streetwire was thrilled his team won a staggering seven trophies.
“We won four first place medals, as well as the Overall Winner in the Sound Off division,” he said.
The team also won two second place prizes in the Show and Shine Division.
“I would like to thank all the Streetwire supporters, as well as my team for their efforts,” said Kader.
Ramnath applauded all entrants and was enthusiastic about returning to Newcastle in 2018.
