Golfers have banked on making a positive contribution to society.

A large field turned out on Friday (October 13), to lend support to the ABSA Bank annual fund-raising Charity Golf Day.

This is a continuation of 10 years of selfless service.

For the past decade, banking staff of the Commercial Asset Finance and Insurance, Business Banking, Private Banking and Enterprise Banking divisions have played their part in various charity projects.

These projects are usually funded through similar golf days.

And while many golfers might harbour reservations about Friday the 13th, it did not stop them from uplifting the lives of various children’s initiatives countrywide.
