GALLERY: Golfers tee off for the King crown
When the final putt and sun sank and golfers were retired to the clubhouse, the winners for the day were announced.
Cold weather and menacing clouds could not keep ardent golfers away as they participated in one of the biggest competitions in the sporting calendar.
Kings Group hosted a sponsored Better Ball Golf day at the Newcastle Golf Club last Saturday, were throngs of golfers attended.
Avid golfers took to the greens and perfected their swings.

The winners were as follows:
1. Wayne Meikle-Braes and Allan McArthur -51 points
2. Gerrit Gouws and Anthony Barraball -50 points
3. Avan Singh and Usheem Maharaj – 48 points
4. Niel and Riaan Swanepoel – 47 points
5. Sheng-Po Tseng and Elvis Sithebe – 46 points
