Vryheid defends title in thrilling cricket tournament finale

Eight teams travelled to Vryheid to compete in an annual cricket tournament at the Cecil Emmet grounds. This was the fourth edition of the tournament.
The Vryheid team was crowned 2025 champions, while the runner-up team came from Hendrina. The other teams were from Dundee, Richards Bay, Newcastle, Ermelo, Eshowe and Piet Retief.
The organisers thank their main sponsor, Vryheid Cash & Carry, for a successful tournament.
The Vryheid team has been crowned champions twice in a row, as they won last year’s tournament as well.
