Flashing smashes time trial record

“Flash” Malibongwe once again smashed his 4km record time by 5 seconds in a time of 12m55s.
Second home was Sabelo, 14m15s and third was Simphiwe, 14m48s. Joe was in fourth in a time of 15m07s, followed by Eric 16m33s, Kheta 17m54s, Reggie 18m59s and Thulani 25m13s. Zanele was again the first lady home in the 4km run in a time of 24m47s. Joyce was second 28m40s, third was Riana Mostert 29m54s and fourth was Alex in a time of 31m17s, followed by Lihle Makubu 34m25s.
The junior section did extremely well in the 4km run – Daniel Mostert edged out Rion Olls on the line in a time of 21m37s. The trials take place every Wednesday in front of DJS at 5:15pm and is open to the public free of charge. You can take part in one of the following events: 2km, 3km and 4km run or walk.
