Vryheid Rugby Club – ‘Make or break’ time for the team
A minor altercation in the second half led to an incident where, in a disappointing display of unsportsmanlike behaviour, a Volksrust player ran onto the field from the bench, accosting one of the Vryheid players. No action appeared to have been taken against the Volksrust player by the referee, however, it is believed that further investigation will be done into the incident. The overenthusiastic Volksrust player was not available for comment following the match.

“Boys, dit is die gees.” said Hennie Badenhorst on social media.” Go for it!” he concluded.
First team Captain, Wessie Van Der Westhuyzen stated, “Well done, boys. Newcastle.”
“Diè naweek sal ons weet of ons reg is of nie. Gaan ons maak of breek? Bring julle ‘A game’.”
