Excellent golf
A notice to all keen golfers is that the golf shop has been revamped under the management of Henk Booysen, and will now be trading as The Pro Shop, which will be opening on Friday.
Saturday’s hot and humid weather conditions never deterred 30 keen golfers from participating in the Individual Stableford competition at Dundee Country Club.
An excellent round of golf by both Marc Bradbury and Bertie Venter saw them finishing first and second with scores of 42 and 41 points respectively.
Cyril Mkhwanazi managed to count out Debbie Catlett on 36 points, for them to finish in third and forth place.
There were as many as ten players to record a 2 Club; B Venter, M Sithole and S Kunene on No.4; M Mthethwa and G Robson on No.8; D Biggs and S Sithole on No.12, as well as W Maritz, J Khumalo and B Francis on No.16.
On February 20, the club competition will be played in the format of Individual Medal Stableford, and players are requested once again to enter their names timeously for every competition.
