2km Walk: Lani van der Mescht won the event comprehensively in a time of 20m02s. Luzanne and Mother Bets were tied for second in a time of 25m06s.
2km Walk/Jog: Vasanthee once again dominated this event with a personal best (PB) in a time of 14m33s.
2km Run: Ivan smashed his PB in this event by running in a time of 10m53s. 4km Ladies Run: Tandeka Mdlalose ran a cracking time of 20m02s (her PB), followed by Kholiwe Buthelezi – 28m14s.
4km Colts Run: Apiwe ran the event in a time of 24m42s followed by Sanele – 33m28s. Well done to our little boys.
4km Men’s Run: Zwelihle Duma ran a phenomenal time of 19m15s followed by Spa Moloi – 21m04s (PB), Sandile Lamula – 24m00s and Sylvester – 26m28s (PB).
8km Ladies Run: Nicky ‘The Flying’ Williams won the event in a time of 39m11s (PB), second was Thobeka Shezi – 46m04s, third was Amos Khoza – 47m38s.
8km Men’s Run: Bongani Sabelo ran a tactical race with a winning time of 28m45s, second was ‘MRT’ Thokozani Phungula – 29m04s, who is rapidly getting back to form. Third was Lindani – 32m29s, fourth was Petrus Mavuso – 34m26s, fifth was Khetha Nchunu – 37m56s followed by the consistent Veli Nkosi 41m43s. Well done to all.
