Highlanders test out new blood
March 6 sees Highlanders at home against Piet Retief, plus additional matches featuring the Third Team and the u/20 team.

Boschpick Highlanders had more than 70 players at its formal trials at the Arbor Park Grounds, the atmosphere lifted by ample support from locals.
When the dust settled, four teams were finalised; three senior and an under-20 side.
“This is the first ever u/20 side in the history of club rugby to compete in the KwaZulu-Natal u/20 B Division, facing clubs like Durban Collegians, College Rovers, Varsity College and UKZN sides in a single round,” explained head coach, Andre Swanepoel.
“Lots of talented players joined the club once they heard about our u/20 side.”
At senior level, Highlanders’ First and Second teams will participate in the Premier Division, while the Third team is set to compete in the Northern KZN Third Division.
Friendly games kick off this weekend, with two teams facing Standerton at the Piet Retief rugby day.
