Docrats Angling Club competition a success
The competition was held on February 27 and 28 at Nsthingwayo Dam
A well-organised fishing competition held by Docrat’s Angling Club proved to be a huge success.
The competition was held on February 27 and 28 at Nsthingwayo dam (Chelmsford dam). The overnight event drew in 499 anglers from far and wide.
There were many prizes given including lucky ticket draws. The winner with the heaviest carp 3.720kg was Debbie Robson.
It was exciting that a female angler won the first prize. Congratulations! Debbie Robson walked away with R25 000 for her catch. The winner of the heaviest barbel, weighing in at a massive 11.170 kg, was reeled in by Seelan Gounden who won R10 000 for his catch .
