Bowlers make a meal of new Business League

The Sharks team has taken an early lead in the Shawe Beefmaster Business League that started on Thursday.
Willie Nel’s Debt Councillors and Marti’s interestingly-named, Gaucabowly team, are second and third respectively.
The Business League is played every Thursday evening from 6 pm and is always a great social occasion – pop along and enjoy the fun.

Inter District
The KZNCB Open Ladies team, B Ladies team and Seniors Ladies team, have all returned from a very successful Inter District tournament.
All teams finished third in their sections and played in Ekuhurleni, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg respectively.
Well done – these are all excellent achievements.
Lucky, but unlucky, Nan Roos, was selected to play for the Senior Protea team, but had to turn it down as they have a family wedding! Unfortunately, the timing was not good but hopefully she’ll get another chance.

KZNCB Northern Zone
Open Ladies and Men’s Fours will be played in Mahawane this weekend. Good bowling to the Dundee team.
Club
A Moths team from Dundee comprising of Dudley, Willie and Alec went to play in Ladysmith.
Moths tournament. Competition was fierce but the local team held their heads and only lost one game and to finish seventh overall.
Sunset Bowls
Sunset bowls is played every Friday from 3:30 pm onwards. All business league and new players are welcome.
