Breakwaters anglers mark 25 years
The Club has pulled out all the stops to ensure that the occasion is an unforgettable night to remember.
Breakwaters Angling Club will host its awards function honouring its top achievers for the past season.
It will be a rather historic occasion as the Club, formed in 1991, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The occasion will be both nostalgic and memorable as we walk down memory lane from 1991 to 2016.
The Club has pulled out all the stops to ensure that the occasion is an unforgettable night to remember.
The function takes place on November 5 at Style and Grace Wedding Venue commencing at 6pm.
The guest of honour is Loutjie Louwies, a multiple-time Protea angler, who represented South Africa at the World Championship, is the host of the popular television series, Vaskap and Fishing 365 and is most famously known for his Conoflex range of fishing products and tackle.
Anglers who excelled during the 2015-2016 season shall be honoured for the outstanding achievements.
The entertainment will be provided by Durban’s top band, Men In Black, who are well reputed in Newcastle and are certain to pack the venue to capacity and entertain the crowd with top class entertainment.
