Golfers aim for ‘bulls eye’ as the dart board beckons

The Glencoe Primary School sponsored day has been moved forward to September, so this Saturday the club competition will be a 4 BBBS event.

Besides the almost 20 local golfers who enjoyed the long weekend down at the south coast, there were obviously a few other golfers out of town for the weekend as Friday’s club competition at Dundee Country Club was cancelled due to a poor turnout and Saturday’s competition saw only 15 players competing.
Winning the I.P.S. competition on Saturday was the ever consistent golfer Billy Francis, who managed to beat Jo Khumalo on a count-out after both players scored 38 individual points, one point ahead of third-placed Melusi Sithole.
Only Billy Francis, on the 12th, and Patrick Mbatha on the 16th, managed to card a 2 Club on the day to share the prize money.

The third round of our social darts league takes place this Wednesday evening from 6pm after taking a break last week. Players are requested to encourage their families and friends to come and support the teams.
There will also be pub and kitchen specials available for the evening.
