Nan and Des take bowling honours

This past weekend saw the Mens’ and Ladies’ Open Singles Bowls Championships being held at the club. Some great fellowship and some great bowls were played and enjoyed by all who participated.

The club wishes the following bowlers taking part in the All-Natal this weekend in Pietermaritzburg good bowling – Greg Conolly, Des Johnson, Nan Roos and Sylvia Malan. Fly Dundee’s flag high.
To all bowlers and businesses, the business league bash, that would have taken place on July 22, has been postponed to July 29. The Club apologises for any inconvenience but seeing that it’s the last weekend of school holidays, many people are still away and parents are getting their kids ready for back to school.
The darts and pool challenge sees the Foxes lead the table with 10 points followed closely by Double J, The Weasels and Battlefields on 8 points. Play starts at 6pm Thursday.
