Dekkers set for World BMX Championships in the USA
The Dekkers say their preparations have gone well in the run-up to the World Championships and are proud to be again representing their country.
The Dekker father and son team is ready for the World BMX Championships in the USA this month. Grant and his son, Justin, warmed-up by racing in the South African National Championships earlier this month.
Racing hard, Grant managed to stay in the top four for most of the weekend in the 40 and over cruiser class. Justin raced hard in the 17 and over elite open class and managed to make all three finals on the weekend. The Dekkers say their preparations have gone well in the run-up to the World Championships and are proud to be again representing their country.
Grant will be competing in the 50 and over cruiser class and Justin in the 17-24 year cruiser classes.
