Team Packers rules the squash court
"It has been great to see so many new faces on the courts," said the club's Natasha du Plessis.
The OK Value Squash League has been dominated by enthralling games this week.
Team Packers – captained by Phillip Vlok – continues to lead the pack on a remarkable 73 total points. The Shelf Stockers is second 2nd on 58 points.
“It has been great to see so many new faces on the courts,” said the club’s Natasha du Plessis.
Her pick of the week’s games was between 2 new recruits, Madison Quale and Nicky Dannhauser. Nicky won the 1st game 15 – 7, but Madison fought back to win the next 2 games by 15 – 13 and 15 – 10. Refusing to give up however, Nicky won the fourth game 15 – 10. In the deciding final game, Madison won 15 – 12, resulting in a 3 – 2 win for her – well done, Madison!
