Third on 51 points were Sam Sewsunker and Mayur Baboolal, with the jackpot won by Gordon and Warren Smith on 11 points.

Another better-ball competition will be played on Wednesday, sponsored by Rite Watch Security.

Saturday will be the Skaapdag, sponsored by Paul Fick. It’s nice to see Ernest Donnelly on the practice tee, chipping and putting.

The Wednesday Pick ‘n Pay competition was won by Paul Wagenaar, but the prize went to George van Niekerk, as Paul was not present at prize-giving. It is now standard procedure that if the winner is not present to collect his prize, it will then go to the next player.
