IF you happened to be passing by Dee's Restaurant on Sunday morning, December 8 and noticed a bit of activity on their deck, you may just be forgiven for being somewhat surprised.
It has been several years since Dee's opened their doors on a Sunday. But this particular Sunday was an exception, and patrons were treated to a lovely breakfast of bacon; eggs; mushrooms; sausages; fried onions; fried tomato and toast at a very reasonable price.
According to Amanda Cannon, who helped with the organisation of the event, it was just their way of saying thank you to their regular patrons for their ongoing support throughout the year.
Although it won't be a weekly event, it may become a regular occurence in future, based on the success of this initial event.
