Shavathon season is upon us and this year, the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) is teaming up with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) to give members of the community yet another way to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
The Winterton community will have the opportunity to shave, spray or donate a pony tail at the Drakensberg Relay for Life, which takes place at the Winterton Country Club on Friday, March 20.
Then, a Shavathon will take place at San Marco Centre in Ladysmith a week later on Saturday, March 28.
Isn’t it time you showed your support for this worthy cause? Not only will you be helping to save lives, you will also be able to sport a brand new (short) hairstyle or some bright streaks to impress all your friends!
