The Newcare Womens Circle is on a mission to ensure the less fortunate have not been forgotten.

At the organisation’s first meeting of the year, members donated toiletries and food to Esperanza Special Needs School.

“While this was the first time we donated to Esperanza, we at Newcare Women Circle really go all out for children,” said Jasmin Roy, chairperson of the organisation.

Esperanza is a non profit organisation, relying on the community’s assistance, and the organisation’s gesture was warmly welcomed by the school’s principal, Jennifer Pillay.

The donation ensured the school would be able to cater for the children’s every day needs, and Mrs Roy expressed pride in her members’ generosity.

“I am very proud of all the women who contributed,” she concluded.
