The perfect gift on Valentines Day could make or break any relationship. The worst gift will be etched in your partners for as long as you both shall live, and you may never be able to redeem yourself!

1. Smelling funky
Receiving a luxury, sensual scented perfume now and again is always welcome by either sex. However, gifting them a bath set or deodorant hamper may give the impression they have terrible body odour, and not the ‘pamper yourself’ connotation you have been aiming for.
2. Dead on arrival
Women love flowers! When taking your partner out on a date, flowers are mandatory. Make sure they are fresh and well wrapped before presenting them to her. Nothing says “I don’t really care” more than a bunch of wilted flora in your sweaty palms. Show your initiative and go the extra mile by getting flowers delivered to her; order flowers + have them delivered= first bullet dodged.
3. You know I love you
Let’s face it, not all men are as romantic and eloquent as the movies make them out to be… Hey, she didn’t agree to be your valentine because of your suave vernacular! If poetry just isn’t your thing, don’t try too hard. Your intentions may be good, but she will understand you just can’t put it into words.
4. Poopsie daisy
Getting a snuggle cushion to rest your head on after a long Valentines Day is romantic and thoughtful. It shows you actually care about the well-being of the one you love. A poop cushion however, is not in the least adorable.
5. Weighing you down
You better think very carefully before choosing a gift like this for your other half. If he or she does not purchase one for themselves, you should not take it upon yourself to buy it for them. A rather sensitive topic to weigh in on, no pun intended. Just steer clear. #You’vebeenwarned
6. Wipe my tears away
Not romantic or humourous at any cost, this gift is unacceptable on all grounds. #JustDon’t
7. Sweet tooth crazy
Yes! Chocolates are overrated and you want to do something unconventional. Remember, less is more. Do not over do it! You may ruin your chance at love.
