One of the best ways to spoil your mom, is to watch one of the following five movies that are dedicated to a mother’s love.
1. Freaky Friday

This movies revolves around a mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) and daughter (Lindsay Lohan) who each wake up as the other. During the day spent in each other’s bodies, the two learn a lot about empathy and the importance of their relationship.
2. The Meddler

This touching movies is about a nosy mom (Susan Sarandon) who constantly meddles in the life of her struggling daughter (Rose Byrne). This heart touching and funny movie is about how mothers only want what is best for their children.
3. Stepmom

Get the tissues handy and get ready to have your heart broken. This movie is about a dying mother (Susan Sarandon), who has two children and needs to come to terms with the fact that her ex-husband’s new wife (Julia Roberts) will be in her children’s lives long after she’s gone. As she prepares her children for the future, one realises how far a mother will go to ensure the happiness of her children.
4. Brave

In this animated adventure, Scottish princess Merida (Kelly MacDonald) becomes the best archer in the kingdom. However, she and her mother Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) clash when it comes time for Merida to choose a husband. Merida runs away to the woods, where a magic spell turns her mother into a bear. It’s up to the determined princess to save her mother and, like in life, the problems bring mother and daughter closer than ever.
5. Akeelah and the Bee

Akeelah (Keke Palmer) can spell exceptionally well, but the thing is no one seems to want her to. She’s afraid of looking like a nerd, her classmates tease her, and her own mother (Angela Bassett), a young widow, just wants her to keep her head down and do her homework. This changes when Dr. Joshua Larabee (Laurence Fishburne), still grieving over the loss of his daughter, catches Akeelah in action and decides to act as her spelling coach. Her journey towards the national competition helps Akeelah and the broken grownups around her heal their wounds.
