Members of the ‘Watch’ secretly conspired to surprise Neighbourhood Watch secretary, Christa Janse van Rensburg for her birthday, with a little something to celebrate the anniversary of her birth and an excuse to say thank you for all that she does for the organisation.
“We would like to thank Christa for all her dedication and hard work,” stated Chairman of Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch, Andrè Rheder, “as well as her husband, Giel Janse van Rensburg. Together they are a winning combination and we really appreciate all they do for the Buurtwag.”
On Tuesday afternoon, Christa was surprised with a special Francocel birthday cake and a beautiful bunch of flowers at the recently renovated Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch headquarters in President Street.
