Deepavali celebrations to take place this Saturday

The Young Hindu Cultural Service Society (YHCSS) will be hosting Deepavali celebrations on Saturday (October 14).

Starting at 3pm, the venue will be the YHCSS Hall, 69 Kandahar Avenue.

If you’re not busy and want to join the celebration, then you’re welcome to do so. The festival, which coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrates new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
