WINNER: Thalani wins R25K at Cambridge Foods
With thousands of entries, the odds were in a local shopper's favour. On Friday, October 13, Thalani Sangweni collected his prize money.
Celebrating its 25th birthday, Cambridge Food held a national competition for its shoppers, where they stood a chance of winning R25 000.
Manager for Newcastle branch, Eon Prinsloo explained the competition ran for the month of September.
“Shoppers could enter with their till slips and a draw was then done in Johannesburg,” he said.
With thousands of entries, the odds were in a local shopper’s favour. On Friday, October 13, Thalani Sangweni collected his prize money.
“I don’t have the words to express how happy I am. It all feels like a dream,” he said.
