Pop star to perform in aid of Toys for Joy drive

All proceeds from the show will go towards the Ladysmith Gazette’s 2018 Toys for Joy campaign.
Donations of money, toys or canned food will be appreciated.
The show will be held on Wednesday, February 14, at Thandana @ Naunton’s Guest House, starting at 7pm.
Tickets are priced at R150 per person, so get yours as soon as possible (10 people per table).
A cash bar will be available and you can bring your own snacks for your table.
Karlien van Jaarsveld is an Afrikaans singer who released her debut album ‘As Die Gordyn Val’ in 2010.
She was previously a member of the rock group ‘Revolusie’, but left the band in 2008. She won the SAMA Award for ‘Best Pop Album’ (Afrikaans) in 2014 for her album ‘Uitklophou’.
Karlien played herself in a guest-starring role on the 10th season of the kykNET soap opera ‘Binnelanders’ in late 2014. In 2015, she was one of the 10 celebrity contestants on the eighth season of the reality competition series ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, winning the competition with professional dancer Devon Snell.
She is the sister of entertainer Bobby van Jaarsveld.
