The annual Big Soup Pot kitchen day is set to take place this month

This year however, the team has invited members of public who share the same mindset, to take part in the Big Soup Pot initiative, which takes place on August 29 from 9am, at the Farmers Hall.

The ‘Golding girls’ are hard at work chopping, peeling and slicing in preparation for their annual Big Soup Pot kitchen day on this month.

Each year, the Pam Golding Properties staff devote time, ingredients and their cooking skills to feeding the homeless and destitute.

They believe a hearty meal can bring a little hope to those who are battling through the harsh winter months.

This year however, the team has invited members of public who share the same mindset, to take part in the Big Soup Pot initiative, which takes place on August 29 from 9am, at the Farmers Hall.

From noon onward, the homeless and needy can enjoy a free, delicious bowl of hot soup and bread.

Non profit organisations are welcome to collect.
