Diwali celebrations to take place this weekend in Ladysmith
Artists from Durban and Pietermaritzburg, as well as local artists, will entertain
The Young Hindu Cultural Service Society (YHCSS) will host the 75th Deepavali Multi-Cultural Celebration at the YHCSS Hall (69 Kandahar Avenue) on Saturday (October 27) at 3pm.
Artists from Durban and Pietermaritzburg, as well as local artists, will entertain.
There will also be a fireworks display. Stalls are available. If you’re not busy and want to join the celebration, then you’re welcome to do so.
The festival, which coincides with the Hindu New Year, celebrates new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
