Bash with Tash cracks up Estcourt audience

Comedian Natashia Portrag enthralled her audience at the Bash with Tash show

Patrons waited with bated breath for the much-anticipated Bash with Tash, live stand-up comedy show to unfold.
The smell of popcorn kernels filled the air as the Forderville Hall began to get packed to its capacity.

Comedian Natashia Portrag ‘Bash with Tash’ left Estcourt fans howling with laughter at her stand-up comedy show in aid of Estcourt Hospice Association.

Organiser, Shereen Suleman hosted comedian Natashia Portrag, as part of a fundraising initiative to support the Estcourt Hospice Association.

With cheers and applause, fans welcomed the creator of ‘Bash with Tash’ to the stage.

Ms Portrag is a burst of energy and an unfiltered personality and the jokes came out rolling. Almost immediately, the room reverberated with uncontrollable chuckles.

Most of the jokes she had shared were about her take on everyday life situations.

Comedy is not the only thing Ms Portrag is passionate about, after a short break, she returned with a whole different approach. She began enriching lives with a personal story of faith and going from zero to hero.

Rena Licen, Clinical Manager at the Estcourt Hospice Association gave a brief talk on the importance of Hospice.

The amount of grins across faces, occasional giggles and burst of laughter was a clear indication that the show was a resounding success. But that was not all, Tash’s Box of Hope helped collect a whopping R3 077 in under two minutes.
