Novelty prizes and stalls at the Winter Market in Estcourt this Saturday

Raffle tickets to win Peter Rabbit cost R5 each and are on sale at Shepstone Place Home for the Aged

Preparations are in full swing for the Shepstone Place Winter Market this Saturday. Stalls have been booked, the venue confirmed and a beautiful prize has been donated for a raffle.

Organiser Sherlene Gericke was excited to receive Peter Rabbit, that was specially made by the team at Bunjy Toys.

She is hopeful that the raffle tickets, which cost R5 each, will be successful, as everyone would love to have this soft toy. Tickets are available from Shepstone Place Home for the Aged.

Ms Gericke is grateful for the generous donation from local business.

“I am so excited about this donation. Already the residents at Shepstone Place are eager to win it,” she said.

Leeanne David from Bunjy Toys said the company decided to help out.

“It’s always good to do something for someone else,” she said.

The Winter Market will be held at the Estcourt Methodist Church from 9am until 1pm. There will be plenty to see, do, eat and buy.

Some of the treats you can look forward to include a pottery painting class for the children, homemade crafts and food, jewellery, coffee, cake and much more.

Don’t miss out on this fund-raising market. The funds raised will be donated to Shepstone Place Home for the Aged.
If you would like to donate cakes for the tea garden or book a stall, please contact Ms Gericke on 073-258-1625.
