Four athletes from Dome Primary School were included in the zone athletics team for the Vaal River championships in Sasolburg on 12 February.
The athletes were Abigail Akabueze, Warona Barda, Princess Akabueze and Michael Motuang. After the event, the selectors included Princess in the Vaal River team. She and her teammates will now compete for a place in the Northern Free State team.
She will be taking part in the 80 m and 100 m sprints for u.10.
