This September, you can take some time to grab a coffee, relax and rediscover the wonder of God’s Word with a group of like-minded women.
Bible journaling, per definition, is keeping journal entries or notes on your study of the Bible in one place; for example, in a journaling Bible, a regular Bible or a notebook.
When we talk about Bible journaling today, we don’t necessarily mean art and decorations in your Bible. We are looking at ways to bring your quiet time to life, engage with God’s Word and apply its lessons practically to your daily life.
Jeremiah 29:12–14 in the message translation assures us that “When you call on me when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.”
What a promise!
In this 4-hour Bible Journaling Workshop, we will journey through:
* Different types of Bible Journaling and how to get started.
* What God says about our time in the Word.
* Ways to make your time in the Word more intentional.
The workshop will take place at 83 Loop Street, Parys, from 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturday, 3 September.
Booking is essential: Contact Clair on 067 984 0838 to book your seat.
R350 includes refreshments and a stationery starter pack.
You only need to bring along your current Bible (it doesn’t have to be a journaling Bible) and any stationery you currently use. Please don’t go shopping before the workshop. Leave it for after when you have a better idea of what you might need.
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written. Come and rediscover its awesomeness with us.
