A message started circulating on social media that a sub-station circulating water to the Rand Water pump-stations in the Vaal Triangle seems to have blown up due to overloading problems. This was said, could result in imminent water supply problems.
The Carletonville Herald yesterday spoke to Rand Water spokesperson, Mr Justice Mohale, who said that they also saw the message, but confirmed that it is not true, as they are pumping water as usual.
