Wanted: Police is asking community assistance

The Tumahole Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit is requesting assistance from the public in tracing a person of interest depicted in the photo in connection with a rape case. The 36-year-old victim alleges that on Saturday, May 24 at about 03:30, she was walking from Tumahole to Parys when she was approached by three unknown African males.

They allegedly demanded her cellphone and money, took her belongings, and dragged her to an open field behind the SPCA offices. The victim further alleges that two of the suspects took turns raping her before fleeing the scene.
