Police asks for public’s assistance in solving rape case of 15 year old girl

The Tumahole Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit is calling on the public to assist in tracing a person of interest in connection with a rape case involving a 15-year-old girl.

According to police spokesperson, Sergeant Josephine Rani, the incident occurred on May 23, at around 07:30. It is alleged that the teenager was at school when an unknown man appeared, dragged her to a field behind the school building, and raped her.

Anyone who may know or recognise the person depicted in the photo is requested to contact Detective Sergeant Noliyiswa Masondo on 082 049 5208, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Alternatively, you can submit an anonymous tip-off on the MySAPSApp.

The Tumahole police asks for the assistance of the public to help find this man.
