Body found in open field; police searching for next of kin

The Parys detectives are seeking assistance in locating the next of kin of an unknown deceased male, estimated to be in his late 40’s.

According to police spokesperson, Sergeant Josephine Rani, a passerby on Sunday, September 17, at approximately 13:00, found the deceased lying in an open veld near the Weiveld gravel road, next to Senwes.

The deceased was found with a grey blanket and cream duvet, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, with no shoes, but with black safety boots next to him.
