No increase for liquor licence renewals in the FS
Please ensure you bring the required documents to streamline the renewal process.
The Free State Gambling, Liquor, and Tourism Authority (FSGLTA) reminds traders in the Free State province that there will be no increase in liquor licence renewal fees for 2026.
The renewal period commenced from December 2025 until February 28.
Required Documents needed for licence renewals
* 2025 liquor license renewal certificate.
* Proof of payment for 2026 renewal.
* Tax clearance and CIPC certificate, if registration is held by a company.
* Certified copy of Identity Document/Company Registration
* Certified copy of Death Certificate (if registrant is deceased)
* Commissioned affidavit (if renewal is for another person).
Please ensure you bring the required documents to streamline the renewal process.
Liquor License Renewal Services are available at the local FSGLTA offices Cnr of Hefer and Maree Streets, Parys (opposite FNB) Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 16:30.
Licence holders in Koppies and Vredefort can also visit the Parys office.
Licence holders in the Mafube area can go to the Frankfort SAPS on February 3 & 4 between 09:00 and 16:00.
