It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the passing of Councillor Freddy Scholtz.

Councillor Scholtz has been a part of the Ngwathe DA Caucus since 2013.

He served as a Councillor in the municipality between 2013 and 2021.

Councillor Scholtz served as a Fezile Dabi District directly-elected Councillor since 2021 until his passing.

He will be remembered for his hard work and his commitment and dedication to the community he served.
