Phehellang and Yakhisizwe celebrate matric results

Congratulations to all our matric learners

Phehellang Seconday School’s matric Class of 2024 did exceptionally well. The school’s top achiever is Kelebogile Moroe with five distinctions in English First Additional Language, mathematics, life orientation, geography and life sciences.

Bongani Nelani has four distinctions for mathematics, geography, life sciences and physical sciences.

Rinos Masasa acheived three distinctions. The school’s pass rate is 98,1%.

Yakhisizwe Secondary School had two matriculants with three distinctions each. They are Tsholofelo Maseola with distincions in business studies, history and tourism, and Thandaza Nkobolo with distinctions in Sesotho Home Language, geography and life sciences.

The school’s pass rate is 97,8%.

Gazette last week reported on the excellent matric results of Parys High School, Barnard Molokoane Secondary School and SS Paki High School learners.

The Free State Province once again had the best matric results, with the Fezile Dabi district (of which Parys forms part) ranked in the top position for the Free State, and in second position countrywide.

Despite the challenges of Covid-19, the 2024 matriculants can proud themselves as the best achievers in the country’s history.
