Take note of a planned electricity and water interruption for Parys, Tumahole, and Schonkenville on Wednesday March 12 from 08:00 to 17:00.

The purpose of the interruption is for the technical team of the Ngwathe Local Municipality to perform maintenance of the electrical infrastructure at the Parys substation.

This will have an impact on the water purification process and water supply to Parys, Schonkenville, and Tumahole.

Residents are requested to unplug electrical appliances to avoid damages during the interruption as reconnection might be earlier.
