Strengthening emergency preparedness

The public was thanked for their patience and cooperation during the exercise.

A very successful  Emergency Response Simulation Exercise was held today on the N1 northbound at the R34 off‑ramp near the Shell Ultra City in Kroonstad. The exercise formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen emergency preparedness, improve coordinated response, and enhance public safety.

The multi‑stakeholder simulation is a collaboration between Sasol, DP World, the Road Incident Management System (RIMS), Moqhaka Local Municipality Emergency Services, and other emergency response partners.
