The National Department of Agriculture alerted the public about a fraudulent recruitment advert circulating on social media. The advert falsely claims to advertise vacancies within the department.

The department in a statement confirmed is not recruiting through the website or WhatsApp Channel/number displayed on the advert.

The public is warned not to submit any personal information or make any payments in response to this advert. 

All legitimate vacancies are advertised through the department’s official communication channels and recognised government recruitment platforms.
