Ibbies cruise past Potch Dorp in Premier A-League

Ibbies' total of 334/4 proved too much for Potch Dorp at the Witrand Oval this past Saturday.

The 2024 North West Club Cricket Premier A-League continued this past weekend with Ibbies recording a comfortable 97-run win against Potch Dorp at the Witrand Oval.

Ibbies batted first and compiled 334/4 in their 50 overs. Ryan Herselman scored an unbeaten 150 (156 balls) as he carried his bat from the first to last ball.

Potch Dorp struggled in the chase with only Christiaan Bester (82 off 90 balls) putting in any resistance.

They eventually were bowled out for 237 in 45.5 overs. Lunga May (3/32) and Gustav Beer (3/56) were the top bowlers for Ibbies.

The Premier A-League continues this coming Saturday, 2 March with Ibbies taking on Travelling Reefs in an away game, whilst Ikageng face off against Taurus at the Jool fields at 10:00
