Motorists are asked to be aware that the N12 at the Sarafina entrance to Ikageng is closed due to protests and cannot be used.
As the protest is once again on the N12 stretching between Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp, motorists are advised to make use of alternative roads to get to and from Potchefstroom or Klerksdorp.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Adéle Myburgh stated that it appears as if Taxi operators closed the road. “We were just informed about the situation. Public prder police are on their way to the scene,” she said.
This comes after the road was also closed over the weekend due to protests.
