Hot Honey Halloumi Pasta

If you’re looking for a vegetarian dish that’s full of flavour and easy to prepare, look no further than Hot Honey Halloumi Pasta! This recipe combines the richness of pan-fried halloumi cheese with the sweet and spicy kick of hot honey, creating a perfect balance of flavours.

Ingredients:

  • 225g halloumi
  • 1.5 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp dried chili flakes
  • 120g extra light cream cheese
  • Pinch of sea salt and black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 250g dried pasta

Directions:

  1. Mix honey and chili flakes.
  2. Boil pasta, reserving pasta water.
  3. Slice halloumi and fry in a dry pan until golden.
  4. Add spicy honey, cook until coated, and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, melt cream cheese, season, and add smoked paprika and crumbled stock cube.
  6. Gradually add pasta water until you have a glossy sauce.
  7. Add half the halloumi, stir in pasta, and top with remaining halloumi.
