Fourmen arrested for possession of dagga

Police officials from the Potchefstroom K9 unit, WO Phologi and Const. Ditlatlare arrested fourmen in Ext. 11 on Tuesday for being in possession of dagga with a street value of R2 114.

Police officials from the Potchefstroom K9 unit, WO Phologi and Const. Ditlatlare arrested four men in Ext. 11 on Tuesday for being in possession of dagga with a street value of R2 114.

According to Ikageng SAPS spokesperson, Const. Kelebogile Trom, the two SAPS officials were on patrol in Ext. 11 at about 08:20 on Tuesday when they received a tip-off that some individuals were selling dagga at a nearby house.
“On arrival, they introduced themselves and asked permission from the owner to search the house. They found a plastic container in the kitchen which contained two bags of dagga weighing 0.670 g and 0.080 g respectively.
Four African males aged 22, 29, 35, and 35 respectively were arrested.
