The road in Sehudi Street in Ext. 6 has been in a shocking condition for about seven months.
It is one of the roads in that area that vehicles cannot drive on anymore.
According to a community member staying nearby, it is difficult to conduct funerals in the area because cars cannot use the roads. He says the municipality and the ward councillor have not come up with a tangible plan to address the situation.
‘They will probably use last week’s floods as an excuse but the truth is that these roads have been in a terrible state for months,’ he said.
